Not Just the Right Candidate…the Right Person

Finding the person who is the right fit for your business is key. Candidates come to my attention through various sources. No matter how I find a candidate, I make sure that I screen them thoroughly. I take the time necessary to be sure that you do not waste your time.

Many of the most qualified candidates contact me exclusively when searching for a job.  These are people that I have placed or met over the years, whose backgrounds I can verify.

There are also referred applicants coming to me from resources I know and trust. Of course, I vigorously research their qualifications to be sure that they meet my standards of excellence.

Many candidates are just passively looking for work, ready to make a move when the appropriate job description comes in. After due diligence, I can get a match that would not be possible by running advertisements.

Lastly, I do advertise. However, my years of experience in your industry afford me the ability to determine when a resume is exaggerated
or inaccurate.

 

New Candidates – the LK & A Process

Vetting and approving new candidates is crucial when it comes to finding new employees. To find the perfect match for you, I search for candidates who have worked for companies similar to yours.  I look for candidates that have worked on the type of construction that your company specializes in.

I do my best to meet in person every applicant that I refer for a job.  Meeting candidates in person gives me much more insight than just
reviewing a resume.

  • If someone is working, I determine whether they are sincerely looking for a job or just a counter-offer from their present employer
